About Us...
Established in the Fall of 2023, the Criminal & Social Justice Charter Club (CSJU Charter Club) was initiated by Dr. Anastasios Goulos, Cameron Sicinski, and Maddie Dust with a clear mission: to create a dedicated group of agents of change. The founders recognized the crucial need for students to advocate for justice and transparency outside of the classroom actively. By focusing on increasing community engagement and pushing for greater social transparency, the club immediately positioned itself as a dynamic force striving to bridge the gap between academic study and necessary social action within the criminal and social justice arena.
The momentum of the club quickly grew. As they organized engaging events and meaningful service initiatives, the CSJU Charter Club began to draw interest from students in various fields of study across the University of St. Francis. This natural expansion has successfully solidified a strong, inclusive community within the campus, united by a shared dedication to service, learning, and becoming active agents of change. Having come a long way since its inception, the CSJU Charter Club is eager to build on its success and embark on exciting new endeavors.

Our Mission Statement:
We are agents of change in the criminal social justice arena through the promotion of advocating for the community and social transparency. Through our efforts, we attempt to engage both justice and societal needs to bridge the gap towards a better understanding and have a positive platform of communication and address all critical requirements to establish a balanced community.

Our Purpose:
The purpose of the Criminal & Social Charter Club is to provide outreach to students interested in criminal and social justice and are willing to become an agent of change to promote a better society. This club will provide opportunities to network with individuals involved in the Criminal Justice System and other related fields, which will grant long-lasting connections that benefit students in the future. It also acts as a safe, judgement-free, zone that allows students to express their knowledge and interest in anything criminal and social justice related, as well as staying up to date on relevant information.

Our Goals:
The goal of the Criminal & Social Charter Club is to promote positive change in the community by engaging in both the justice and social needs of the community, which in turn will help achieve a better understanding of the world around us. A secondary goal of the club is for members of the club to become agents of change as they make the effort to establish a balanced community.
